This unit will do 2 different functions. This unit is all in one and will wire directly into your trailers electrical system. It works perfectly and comes with a remote control unit to operate from where ever you decide mount it, also has battery over temp sensor. It will charge your batteries at multiple different rates vs the old single rate, and also act as an inverter so you can watch TV, use appliances, etc.
